NBCHS Band and Music Blog

This Thursday May the 8th is the 2008 Grade 8 Honour Band Workshop and concert.   As well as Featuring the Honour Band there will be selections played by the Senior Concert Band, and the Jazz Band.    The Concert starts at 7:00 in the Large Lecture Theatre.   All NBCHS Music Students are asked to be at the Comp at 6:30 in Uniform.

NBCHS Concert Band

Good luck to Jordan Staff and Jadan Paluckwho have been chosen to represent North Battleford in the Provincial Music Festival in Moose Jaw, June 6^th – 10^th. 

The North Battleford Jazz Society is proud to present the SJS Big Band with opening act The King Street Station Jazz Band on Saturday, May 3rd.   Both of these groups include some of the finest musicians in the province and will be sure to put on a good show.   Regular ticket prices are 20$, but only 10$ for students. 

The show will be presented at the Legion on 100th Street.  All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

A reminder that the NBCHS Year End Final Concert is scheduled for

 THURSDAY JUNE 5th at 7:00. 

The Concert Band, Grade 9 band, Jazz band and Choir will all be performing as well as recognizing deserving individuals, graduating members of the group and year end awards.

The Spring Trip Itinerary can now be downloaded. 

Forms need to be handed in by FRIDAY APRIL 25th.

 Forms can be picked up in the music office.

  • Performance at the Agri-villa.  (Behind the Gold Eagle)
  • The students will be asked to leave the school at 2:00 and will be back in time to catch their buses.   More Information to follow.
